Davina and Liam are long time friends of mine whom I’ve had the pleasure of watching them grow individually, and as a couple. Davina and Liam have always been people with a culture of honouring, and that’s exactly what they had in mind when it came to planning their wedding day.
The day started off with a gate crash, and the games were unique and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. A gate crash is held as part of the Chinese tradition to test the groom’s determination in receiving his bride. One of the games required Liam to place cut outs parts of the face unto Davina’s face. It was truly funny to see the groom and groomsmen struggling to accomplish their tasks. At the end, Liam and his groomsmen broke through the barrier of games, and Liam succeeded in receiving his bride.
The ceremony was held at Mandoon Estate, and the weather was perfect. It was sunny with low levels of humidity with some light wind. Davina and Liam couldn’t have asked for a better day to tie the knot in front of their witnesses. Liam teared up as he watched Davina walk down the aisle, even though just moments earlier they have had a private first look. It was an emotional, and spirit led ceremony.
Their reception continued on at the Surveyor’s room in Mandoon Estate, where they heard heartwarming speeches, dined on delicious meals and had an incredible dance floor. It was night a to remember for sure.
To Davina and Liam:
A massive thank you for trusting in me, not just in our friendship but also in having me as your photographer. I love you both so much and I’m thankful to have my paths crossed with you two. It is truly a great time being there to celebrate you both
Many thanks to everyone who took part in this memorable day!
