Q: Tell us your full proposal story. When did it happen? How were you feeling? Did you expect it?
Cass: It happened the day after he got back to Perth from KL. He took a taxi home the night he landed, came home, took a shower and went straight to bed. In the morning, we decided to get dim sum for breakfast. I got ready and was sitting on the bed waiting for him to finish getting ready. While he was pulling clothes out from his luggage he passed me a wrapped necklace box and said “for you”. I opened it and lo and behold, it wasn’t a necklace but a ring!
Q: What’s been your favourite part about being engaged?
C: Being called someone’s fiance! But also the excitement of planning our life together, as cliche as it sounds. It’s true when people say it doesn’t matter where you are, as long as you are with someone you love, you are home.
Q: What are your current plans for your wedding day?
C: Ceremony in the morning and reception at night, with plenty of time in between for pictures!
