I met Lisa and Khai earlier last year when Lisa reached out to me about photographing her graduation, and we’ve built a wonderful relationship since then. I’ve been a part of khai’s birthday, as well as Lisa’s graduation and finally, their Pre-Wedding shoot here in Perth, WA.
The weather was crazy hot on the day itself so we started our shoot in the cool of the evening and visited a few locations within the Perth CBD. After that, we left to Cottesloe Beach for an intimate shoot between the both of them. Lisa and Khai were always up to try new things, and they bring their fun to every single location, so rest assured it was both romantic and chaotic watching them interact with one another as best friends and lovers.
Q: Tell us your full proposal story. When did it happen? How were you feeling? Did you expect it?
We did not have a proper proposal ceremony, but it happened quite spontaneously where we just talked to each other on the future of this relationship. We felt very happy and it was quite expected as we were together for more than 3 years before the thought of getting married popped up.
Q: What’s been your favourite part about being engaged?
Our favourite part would be the fact that we both know we would be spending the rest of our life together. It is a bonus that we are two best friends who are deeply in love with each other and decided to spend the rest of our lives together
Q: What advice do you have for future couples planning their wedding?
Our advice would be to get everything planned ahead to avoid any hiccups in between.
