Q: Tell us your full proposal story. When did it happen? How were you feeling? Did you expect it?
Jennifer: We got engaged in November 2022, it was the last mutual off day together we had in a while. Wen got off night shift and was pretty much flustered the whole day, didn’t sleep (of course jenn slept!). We went to king’s park, set up our new shiny camera at dangerous places, then he got on one knee and said his spiel as it started raining and jenn couldn’t stop laughing (so jenn had to rush him, and she made him say it all over again in the car).
Q: What’s been your favourite part about being engaged?
J: Counting down towards the end of the engagement together, learning more about each other through wedding planning, planning honeymoon.
Q: What are your current plans for your wedding day?
J: Just a simple one with family and friends here in Perth in October.
