I had the best time with Davina and Liam the other day during their spring pre-wedding session in Cottesloe, Perth. Cottesloe Civic Centre is such a great place to be for a modern pre-wedding photo session. In the Civic Centre, you are surrounded by luscious greens with beautiful stonework architecture. And FYI, if you are a great picnic location, do consider Cottesloe Civic Centre as the space is open for public use. Davina and Liam were incredible to photograph. They knew their best angles and were fully comfortable around each other. The results are beautiful document candids of Davina and Liam as they enjoy their moments being engaged before their grand wedding later in April. I’m so excited about their wedding coming up, and rest assured we’re going to be having the best time of our lives.
Q: Tell us your full proposal story. When did it happen? How were you feeling? Did you expect it?
Liam: It had been part of my plan to propose for a long time, but I had no idea how to start or organize. We have been together for more than 8 years and that’s when I knew she would be the one. Due to Covid, my plan to proposed has been postponed couple times as I was hoping to wait for our family to come over and witness it together as Davina would love her close ones to be there when it happen. After postponing for a year plus, the border hasn’t open back so I decided to go ahead with the proposal as I did not want to wait any longer. We knew we were meant for each other and I’m glad it went out well with the help of our friends in planning the proposal.
Q: What’s been your favourite part about being engaged?
L: Knowing that we are finally making it official and looking forward in building our family.
Q: What are your current plans for your wedding day?
L: Ceremony in the morning and reception at night, with plenty of time in between for pictures!
